The turning mechanism is a steel ball rotating with plastic cover allowing for a whisper quiet and smooth turn.

Care

The wood is unsealed so it will naturally patina over time. Because it's unsealed, we recommend wiping up spills with dry or lightly damp cloth.
Not dishwasher safe, do not submerge in water.
Occasionally rub with a food-safe mineral oil to keep wood from drying out.
